BODY WAXING
WAXING AS A SEMI-PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL METHOD
Body waxing is an effective solution for removing unwanted hair, but it is only comfortable if the treatment is adapted to the characteristics of the skin and the area being treated. At L'intimage, we work with gentle, thoughtful techniques on both women's and men's skin, prioritizing safety and comfort.
If you want gentle, area-specific waxing, you've come to the right place.
Our treatment pace and technique are tailored to your skin:

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY BODY WAXING?
General body waxing includes all areas that are not intimate but still require attention.
This may include, among others:
-
feet
-
arms
-
back
-
chest
-
belly
-
certain areas of the face
-
armpit
-
bends
Every area reacts differently, so we don't work with a uniform method.
MALE AND FEMALE WAXING– NOT JUST AN INTIMATE DIFFERENCE
When it comes to waxing, it doesn't just matter which part of the body is being treated, but also whether we're talking about male or female skin and hair.
There may be a difference between male and female resin:
-
in the thickness of the hair
-
in the density of the hair
-
in skin tightness
-
in skin reactions
-
Therefore, the technique, pace, and material used are always adapted to the characteristics of the skin and hair, not according to a template.
The goal is always the same: gentleness, safety, comfort.
“SOFT, SENSITIVE AREAS” WHERE MATERIAL CHOICE IS IMPORTANT
Soft, sensitive areas are not limited to the intimate area and armpits.
This includes all skin areas where:
-
the skin is thinner
-
is located in a bend
-
is exposed to increased movement and friction
-
more sensitive due to nerve endings
Soft, sensitive areas may include:
-
intimate area
-
armpit
-
bends (e.g. thigh-intimate border)
-
certain facial areas
-
any area where the skin is more easily damaged
In these areas, the right technique and choice of materials are particularly important.

TECHNIQUE ADJUSTED TO THE AREA
-THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE-
During waxing, we use two techniques, always according to the needs of the skin:
Soft, thin skin, in flexural areas
We use hard wax on areas with soft, thin skin because:
-
sticks directly to the hair, not to the skin
-
reduces the risk of skin surface injuries
-
causes less pulling on thin skin
-
more precise in curves and sensitive zones
This is especially important where the skin:
-
blushes easily
-
prone to microcracks
-
reacts sensitively to stronger pulls
That's why we don't use the same technique in every area.
On large, flat surfaces
-
cartridge, soft wax
-
faster, smoother treatment
-
effective hair removal
-
less unnecessary burden
These include:
-
foot
-
arms
-
back
-
chest
This way, the treatment does not become unnecessarily stressful, even with full-body waxing.
The goal is not speed, but a balance between skin protection and results.
